What is the IFR required equipment?
In addition to what’s required for VFR flight (FAR 91.205 (b)) we can use the acronym GRAB CARD(D) to our list of required items:
Generator or Alternator sufficient for flight
Radio or navaids sufficient for airspace used
Airspeed Indicator
Ball (inclinometer (bottom of turn coordinator))
Clock
Attitude indicator
Rate of turn indicator
Directional gyro (heading indicator)
(D)me or RNAV equipment (FL240 and up)

Chris caught the aviation bug at the age of seven when he was able to sit in the cockpit of a 737 between flights, thanks to his aunt working at a large airline.
