Carbon monoxide (CO) is one of those dangers you may not give much thought to or recognize. It’s the silent killer; colorless, odorless, tasteless, and it can knock you out before you even know there’s a problem. In late July, I flew a Cessna 182 on an IFR trip from Cincinnati to Charleston, anticipating an uneventful flight under a high-pressure system.
